Classes are held through Google Classroom and would only require internet access and a smartphone, iPad, laptop or desktop computer. In the best interests of our students, we will be offering the 60 hours of theory as an online option. With the current pandemic situation, Ventura Training Institute is taking necessary steps to aid in the fight against COVID-19. ![]() We are happy to say that our students boast a pass rate of over 90% on the state certification test! IMPORTANT 2022 UPDATES After completing the Nursing Assistant program and successfully passing the state certification test, the student is issued a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification by the state of California. Graduates of the program meet the state requirements to be eligible to take the California state certification examination. You will receive 60 hours of theory instruction and 100 hours of clinical experience at a clinical site under instructors’ supervision. This course, approved by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and meets Title 22 regulations, will train you to provide care in nursing homes, long-term facilities and hospitals. The Nursing Assistant course is a 6-12 week program that is designed for students who have expressed an interest in the entry level nursing profession. ![]()
